Transportation Services for Hiker/Bikers
Taumarunui Jet Tours offers a transportation service to and from all walking, tramping, camping or biking tracks. A number of the most popular walks are inaccessible by road and the only means in or out is via the Whanganui River and jetboat.
There are many walking tracks in our area, with the Matemateonga and Mangapurua including the Bridge to Nowhere being two of the most popular.
There are soon to be cycle way trails also covering mountain to sea and part of the trip is via the Whanganui River.
We can also provide a canoe/kayak pick up service.
Why not kayak or canoe down the Whanganui River and return via our jet boat for an all round experience?
Accommodation
We are happy to arrange accommodation, whether it be for overnight or longer, in one of the many DOC Huts along the river, or there are also riverside lodges available. We can transport you to your lodge or start of your adventure and pick you up afterwards.
